Improving quality of life in the Lehigh Valley

Protecting Abortion and Family Planning Freedom

Family planning decisions should be made by families, not by politicians. Anna will stand up to those in Harrisburg who want to outlaw abortion or limit access to birth control and fertility treatments for couples trying to have a baby.

Smart Growth for the Lehigh Valley

Anna believes that as the Lehigh Valley grows, our leaders need to be smart about the way it grows, consider the impact it has on our residents, and ensure that we get the benefits of that growth.

Anna supports investing in infrastructure to improve our quality of life and make Pennsylvania a great place to do business. By modernizing roads, bridges, and rail across Pennsylvania, we can continue to attract cutting-edge businesses that create high-paying jobs for families.

Quality Public Education

Having served as student representative to the School Board in the Bethlehem Area School District, Anna knows how decisions in Harrisburg impact Lehigh Valley schools. She’ll ensure we get our fair share of state funding. A highly skilled workforce is essential for a strong economy, so she’ll expand vocational training and keep tuition affordable at our public universities and community colleges.

Increasing Affordability for Families

People in our district are facing a cost of living crisis – childcare, utilities, groceries, and health care and drugs have all gotten more expensive. Anna wants to help hardworking people who are struggling with rising costs in the Lehigh Valley, so they have the economic freedom to make a life for themselves and secure a safe retirement.

Right now, senior citizens and middle class families carry too much of the tax burden in Pennsylvania. Instead of nickel-and-diming working people to fund our public services, Anna wants to close the loopholes that have been put in the tax code by politicians doing favors for their industry friends. She’ll take on powerful special interests that get special treatment, and vote to ban lobbyists from giving gifts to state legislators.
